Altura is not a credit union at heart.

I have been with this bank for year and at first they were great. Now that has changed. This bank runs similar to B of A. They fee you to death and their customer service is horrible. I can't tell you how many times I had to wait in super long lines because there was only one or two tellers. If you deposit a payroll over 4000.00 you have to get it approved each time which can take time because it has to be done by a manager. My new bank only if it's over $50,000. If you deposit by ATM you have to wait up to 4 days to see the money. If by phone app it takes up to 3 so your forced to wait in the long lines if you need you deposit that day. The wait is even worse if you have to call in that can take up to 40 minutes. Their deposit by phone is not that great either. Their system will not allow amounts over $2700.00 and it takes up to 4 days for the item to be processed. My new bank allows over 50,000 and it post the next business day. Their Non-sufficient fund fees are high $31.00 per transaction. My new bank it $8.00 per item and first is free. If you do go into NSF they will process the largest so they can get you on fee from the smaller amounts even if it's the same day and time. The largest transaction is applied first. Their ATM cards are of poor quality can't tell you how many 5 dollar fees I have paid. They close to early on Sat. My new bank is open for business all the time. If you need to talk to someone after hours forget it. All I can say is run, run from this bank. I know it's a credit union but now they are as slimy as other cooperate banks. I wish I did not have to give them one star. They are not consumer friendly. I started an account with Ally and I can tell you they are great. I never wait for anything.
