I was warned by a competitor of this business that Carls had a poor reputation for on time delivery. Thinking the competitor was afraid to lose the sale I blew it off and purchased at Carls anyway for what I thought was good furniture at a great sale price. I paid in full and spent over $4,000. This was Feb. 2nd. Not all items were in stock, but I was assured the rest would be delivered by the end of the month. My check cleared, they got payment in full, but the last of my furniture wasn't delivered until May 21st! A three and a half month wait.In the interim all I got was "you'll have to wait, it's not our fault, it's the manufacturers fault", from the people in shipping. To be fair, after many left messages, I finally got a manager to agree to a small courtesy refund of $200.
Bottom line; this store sells merchandise they do not have! Never pay full price for anything that's not in stock and being delivered the next day! Always use a credit card or pay balance upon delivery! Once they have your money you're stuck!
