Contego Law is a huge scam. They take your money for 4 years and then pay the debts off. During those 4 years you can expect lawsuits from the debt collectors, liens against your property and wage assignments and Contego will not assist you with any of those issues. They are great at sending out form letters that mean absolutely nothing to your debtors. In my case I paid them $6636. for 4 forms letters sent to my debtors and that is all they ever did for me. I did not understand that things would get much worse during the 4 years as they assured me they would be there for me........NOT!!!!! This company keeps your money, earns interest on your money, does nothing for that money and is not going to stand by you when it hits the fan. I CANNOT BELIEVE THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA ALLOWS THIS BUSINESS PRACTICE TO CONTINUE AND THEY DO IT LEGALLY. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY - THE ONLY REPUTABLE CREDIT CARD AGENCY IS CONSUMER CREDIT COUNSELORS.
