I was first told by CCAT that they had a fleet of trucks that could move my vehicle from New York to California. I then gave them my CC for a $150 deposit. I then was contacted by a company saying that my job had been sub contracted to them. CCAT never informed me of this and now my vehicle required COD. I told CCAT that this move was being paid by my company and everything has to be paid with my corporate CC (no COD). CCAT said that they would make an exception and accept my CC for the full charges of the transport of my vehicle and they would pay the sub contracted company for the job. My vehicle was picked up on 12/3/09 as I was under the impression that all charges were going to be placed on my corporate credit card as stated by CCAT. I then received a telephone call on 12/4/09 stating that they could not accommodate what they had told me just 3 days prior and I had to again pay a COD. I would not have released my vehicle to the driver if I would have known this was the case. After complaining to the CCAT he then told me that all of the information about the COD was clearly stated in the contract which which was never sent to me. He finally sent the contract on 12/4/09 which I had never signed in the 1st place! If I would have known that COD was required for this job I would not have used this company (broker) at all. Basically, the people at CCAT are low level con artists that are dishonest and only out to get their deposit/broker fee.
