re: HealthBuy.com..I ordered a "free trial" of Acai Berry Diet pills, charging the S&H to my credit card. My credit card company called me about suspicious charges..Did I authorize them? 3 small amounts, the S&H, and $70! Realizing it was a scam, we stopped the charges & I was issued a new card. When the "free" pills arrived, I read the fine print first--it said I could only return the unopened bottle, or I would be charged the full amount!(They had already done that.)I mailed them back, requesting a signed postcard upon arrival. But wait, there's more! Next morning, a fast-talking man called, asking if I had just purchased something with my credit card, ending in ####. He then told me my name, address, phone number, & said I'd purchased something-or-other (I was so angry, I didn't really hear what it was---HealthBuy had sold my information--which was supposed to be "secure"-- to another company! I was furious, said,"No! and do not use my information!" & hung up. Thank goodness for my Chase Bank! I guess you really don't get what you pay for! On the BBB site there are many comments that are similar to mine!
