I took my home theater system for repair to HD Electronics on Dec 5, 2009. They charged $25 for an estimate - the disc changer was inoperative. I inquired about the progress of the repair six times during the ensuing 16 months, and was always assured that they could repair it. On April 11, 2011, they called me to say they couldn't repair the unit because the broken part was no longer available. They wasted 16 months, during which time the parts from Panasonic became unavailable. When I got the unit home and plugged it in, it was in worse shape than when I took it to them. I will never deal with this business again.
