I belong to several watch forums and have seen threads and documentation that the Sandstone dials are not Sandstone at all but a mix of sand and plastic. Eyal and the technical brand manager both were on ShopNBC saying they were genuine Sandstone.
On a WatchGeeks thread, a man got an Invicta II Women's Classique Boutique Quartz Diamond Accent Stainless Steel Bracelet Watch for his wife, a diamond fell out so he took it to a jeweler to put a new one in. The jeweler told the man that they were not diamonds, they were crystals.
There are WatchGeek threads where people have bought water resistant watches, only to have them flood in a pool, shower of just doing dishes.
On ShopNBC it was stated that if it said Swiss at the 6, then it was Swiss Made. People took off their case backs and the movements said Made In China. There are pictures as documentation on Watch forums. I, myself experienced this on a 5 of my Invicta's.
Eyal was on TV and said his warranty covered everything. It does not, you have to pay for almost anything on the watch to be repaired.
I sent in the float hand SANIII OQ and had to wait over 6 months to get it back.
Eyal claimed, on ShopNBC, that his grandmother designed a limited number of Russian Diver Invicta's for the Russian Navy to give to their officers. There is no proof of this and no one in Russia can remember this. The watch company's in Russia are upset, rightfully so, over this, they even tried to find someone who could verify it and couldn't, there are articles on this on other watch forums and on Google.
The Reserve Speedway with the Dubois Depraz malfunctioned badly. It was stated that Eyal was going to have "loud conversations with them" When someone emailed a top guy at Dubois Depraz, I saw the email, where he said that Invicta never purchased movements from them.
Invicta says they have a factory in Switzerland, a member of the forum asked where and was banned. Invicta said they were "moving its manufacturing from Chiasso, Switzerland to a new factory in L'Abbaye. "Our new factory will be ready in April 2003, and it is located about 100 steps from the Breguet factory," A google search does not show this to be an Invicta factory but Montres Claude Meylan is there. They said they worked with Invicta in 2003, on some pieces, but don't know where Invicta makes watches now.
Invicta has COSC watches and some were sent out without the certificates to the customers. A search on Google states that the owner can not request a certificate duplicate, only the watch company can. If you search, watch company's are happy to do this for their customers. Invicta won't do it. I was told "we don't do that" I asked why and was told "we just don't".
There is a man that runs another watch forum, he has kept issues with Invicta and the documentation alive on his watch forum, so that people can see the truth. The technical brand manager for Invicta and a ShopNBC host made threats to him and his family. They took his personal information off the Invicta watch forum (WatchGeeks) and made it public on the web. This man gets threats from members of Invicta's watch forum, saying they are going to beat him up. Invicta allows members of their forum to post dead fish photo's in threads where this mans name is brought up. This shows that Invicta will threaten anyone who asks too many questions and brings up the truth.
Everything on here is true and is my experience with Invicta. Everything I have stated can be backed up with documentation.
