$6,000 in Damages Due to his Incompetent Repair

This man just ruined my entire kitchen floor. I just had a licensed plumber turn off the water from my dishwasher after LP Appliances Repair caused the dishwasher to have a major leak. The licensed plumber said LP failed to follow the most basic procedure
of turning off the water to the dishwasher before starting the installation. Then, per the licensed plumber, he damaged a fitting on the dishwasher causing it to start a major leak. He then just left and the leak went under the flooring and was not visible
until the morning and my whole kitchen floor is now damaged. At this point in time, he has admitted he is operating without a license and I am turning him into the state licensing board. He is also probably operating without insurance.
